GENERAL INFO. I work in astrology to help people discover themselves and grow into the life they desire, not to perform parlor tricks. I might impress you briefly if I can guess from your chart that you like to write or that you had an overbearing mother, but it won't do you much good: you already knew that. So I prefer to start new clients with two sessions. The first is a thirty- to sixty-minute opportunity for me to get to know you: to watch your demeanor, feel how you change the air in the room, and hear whatever you are willing to share about your life history, your hopes and fears and frustrations, and your goals in consulting an astrologer. Then, after I have had at least a few days to process your chart in light of what I have learned from you, we will meet for one to two hours to thoroughly discuss my interpretation and how you can move forward with what you learn.

Many astrologers will meet with clients remotely and provide video recordings, but I believe this work is more authentic and effective when performed face-to-face. There's nothing wrong with technology, but most of us could use a little more analog time in our lives – plus astrology is energetic/intuitive work as well as analytical work. I can host you at my home, visit you at yours, or meet you at one of Maine’s fantastic beaches or parks: the power and beauty of Maine’s land offers a universally sacred space that encourages meaningful conversation. Instead of a video, I will prepare a written report that we will annotate during our second session.

An astrology reading probably won't provide many final answers, but it will likely open several new doors. I can help you take the next steps through additional astrological work, tarot, custom charms to support change, reading recommendations, and references to healers and counselors in my network.

The rates listed here are introductory. I expect to hold these prices through 2023. I am a knowledgeable reader but new to practicing publicly, so I am offering reduced rates as I establish my practice. I welcome your feedback about the process and will be happy to adjust my reporting style or answer a reasonable number of follow-up questions.

NATAL CHARTS. This fundamental chart shows how the stage was set for an individual at birth. It is used in combination with other charts to produce the other types of readings. It tells you about your personality, your strengths and weaknesses, your gifts and blind spots, your tendencies to do good or harm to yourself or others. It describes your dynamics with family, friends, lovers, and spouses. It can also offer guidance for how you can best make money, find love, and discover your purpose. Introductory rate: $200.

SYNASTRY & COMPOSITE CHARTS. A synastry chart compares two natal charts to describe the dynamics between two people, while a composite chart blends the two charts to create a picture of their relationship as a separate organism. Commonly sought by romantic partners, these charts shed just as much light on friendships, business partnerships, parent/child relationships, or any other key relationship. Learn about your areas of compatibility, likely sources of conflict, how to avoid harming each other, how you help or inhibit each other's growth, and the best life areas for joint effort. A full relationship reading requires examining five different charts (two natal charts, both synastry wheels, and the composite chart); I can offer a discount if I have already read the natal chart for one or both querents. Introductory rate: $450.

TRANSIT CHARTS & MOON MAPPING. These charts overlay a natal chart with the astrological chart from a different time to reveal the effects of the current astrological activity on the querent. Anticipating and understanding long-lasting outer planet transits can support us during eras of major spiritual transformation in our lives. Carefully observing over time how the shorter-lived inner planet transits awaken and affect the dynamics of our natal chart can deepen our self-awareness and help us harness these dynamics in our favor. A natal chart reading is a prerequisite for this work. Moon mapping is most valuable if practiced for a full year, and requires your commitment to regular journaling. Introductory rate: $75 per transit, or $200/month for moon mapping.

SOLAR RETURN CHARTS. Your solar return is like your astrological birthday – the moment when the sun makes its annual return to the exact sign, degree, and minute it occupied at the moment of your birth. The solar return chart is the astrological chart for this moment: by itself and in comparison to your natal chart, it is useful for predicting themes and events between birthdays, offering guidance for getting the most out of the year to come. A natal chart reading is a prerequisite for this work. Introductory rate: $200.
